I was so excited to hear that Crypto got this license but I still cannot invest into a card set without the lead actor. I had hopes when they got the big 5 from Big Bang and the Trinity from Vampire Diaries. It's just a hard sale when the guy on the box isn't inside the box.
I dont usually pick a choose autos from a set but I might have to do this with Laura.
Great looking cards though.

It's not Crypto's fault that Welling won't sign. Same with Kruek. To me, this auto checklist is only second to The Vampire Diaries for great autos.
And the fact that they got the big 5 for BBT didn't mean much considering how hard they are to pull. 1 or 2 of them per case is pretty crappy.

I understand its not their fault but as a collector I just cant get into it. Yeah the big bang pulls are hard to get but they are at least possible.
The Robert Downey Jr from Iron Man is insanely hard to get but you can still get the main character.
I may still pick up a box or two and depending on prices of autos down the line, I might go for this set. There is just too much good stuff out there now...

I understand the frustration. BUT I'd almost rather have this be 1-2 per case, as opposed to them doing some type of "incentive" like Ritten is doing on Game of Thrones. I've read a lot of negative thoughts on the upcoming Game of Thrones, just for the incentive cards. That doesn't bother me as much as no relic/wardrobe pieces coming out for the set.

No difference. Inkworks used to call their wardrobe cards Pieceworks cards but all they are are wardrobe cards. |

Well even though they didn't get any of the other people I really wanted them to get (Here's hoping for another Smallville release *crosses fingers* LOL)
I will still be getting boxes as I've been waiting for a Laura Vandervoort auto for almost 5 years.

Sounds like this has been pushed to May (according to the Crytozoic site). Anyone have a new date.
Probably means Fringe will be pushed back until June.
Unfortunate that they are still having production delays.
